Regulatory Reporting Analyst

THE JOB

As our new colleague you will be working in our Regulatory Reporting Team in Copenhagen. The Team forms part of Operations Control which is a Department of 39 people globally who work closely together on a daily basis. We are part of Saxo Bank’s Group Operations Group which has app. 300 employees globally.

The team’s main responsibilities are to act as key stakeholders within Regulatory Projects, act as controllers for the entire Operations Group, support and surveille new upcoming regulatory requirements and changes to existing obligations, and to ensure correct and timely reporting globally. We work closely together with our IT department as we analyze, develop and implement new and enhanced reporting facilities.

As our new colleague you will form part of our Team in Copenhagen and be reporting into the Team lead for Regulatory Reporting.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Support Saxo Bank Group’s transaction related reporting, liaising with local offices in UK, Australia, France, Switzerland and Singapore.
  • Continuously and actively improve and streamline systems and processes around transaction related reporting including MIFID, EMIR, FINMA and ASIC.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in implementing new international regulatory reporting requirements facing Saxo Bank Group.
  • Support tax reporting to tax authorities in USA and Denmark
  • Participate in improving documentation and processes within the Regulatory reporting team

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • You have comprehensive knowledge of investment banking products (Stocks, CFDs, Futures and Options) and its entire lifecycle
  • You have an academic background (university degree within economic or finance)
  • You have 4 – 5 years’ of experience from a similar role or an Operational role and are looking for new challenges and a chance to grow your career
  • Preferable you have a good understanding of Corporate Actions
  • Preferable with relevant experience in writing business requirements and working closely with IT departments.
