Regulatory Trading Surveillance Officer

THE JOB

The Compliance department, in the Head Office, consists of 12 employees. Its overall purpose is to ensure the Bank is in compliance with financial legislation, specifically investor protection rules, and anti-money laundering.      

As our new Officer you refer to, and belong to the Regulatory Trading Surveillance team. The team is responsible for identifying, analyze, and report, suspicions of Money Laundering (AML), and Market Abuse (MA) activity in the bank. Additionally, the team is also responsible for the development, and implementation of systems/reports for detection/analysis, and reporting on its activity both internally, and externally.

Among others you will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing, and processing AML/MA suspicion alerts
  • Report on suspicious activity to the Danish authorities/regulator
  • Generate periodic reports on Regulatory Trading Surveillance activity, and review the information with the relevant internal/external stakeholders
  • Document, and update the function’s procedures
  • Develop, and optimize the systems, tools, and reports used in Trading Surveillance

Further we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree within Business Admin., Finance, Economics or related educations
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, database applications, and other MS Office programs
  • Preferably, previous experience with regulatory affairs in the Finance industry
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good understanding of banking operations, trading products, and trading markets
  • Native or high proficiency in Danish, and high proficiency in English
