Financial Controller

As our new financial controller you refer to the head of financial controlling and belong to the financial controlling team. The Financial Controlling team within the Group Finance Department is responsible for financial controlling, consolidation, internal & external reporting, ensuring reliant daily reporting on revenue towards key stakeholders and timely and accurate regulatory reporting to official bodies (Danish FSA etc.)

Among others you will be responsible for:

  • Financial controlling of reporting from subsidiaries
  • Controlling and monitoring that financial reporting and management reporting is prepared in accordance with IFRS and our accounting guidelines
  • Ensuring that our accounting guidelines and processes are transparent, accurate, efficient and well controlled. This includes participating in several projects of changing and improving our processes and controls
  • Guide, coordinate and support the finance departments incl. the foreign subsidiaries
  • Providing recommendations, improve systems and procedures
  • Assisting on regulatory reporting to the Danish FSA etc.
  • Ad-hoc tasks and projects

Further we are looking for a candidate with the following competences and experience:

  • Ideally, you have a master degree in Accounting and Finance combined with a background in a large international audit firm, and potentially experience from a Group Finance function in an international company
  • You are capable of driving improvements without being afraid of challenging existing processes and procedures
  • You have excellent capabilities in accounting and consolidation tools
  • Strong IFRS understanding
  • Strong accounting understanding and ability to analyse financial reports
  • Strong skills in Excel, and user of Navision, Hyperion, Essbase and SQL will be an advantage
