Commercial Driver of Wholesale Risk Management


The Solution Sales department consists of 21 employees and its overall purpose is to drive the global distribution and client services towards all Wholesale clients of Saxo Bank.     

As our new Driver of Wholesale Risk Management you refer to and belong to the Wholesales Governance team. The Wholesales Governance Team is responsible for global standards for selling and servicing Saxo Bank’s wholesale solutions and for ensuring that such solutions are competitive.

With an ever increasing focus on Risk Management the wholesale business of Saxo Bank are influenced in two ways. Firstly the way in which Saxo Bank looks at the risk within the complex wholesale relationships is influenced and secondly the expectations to the risk management functionality included as a part of Saxo Bank’s wholesale solutions increases. Therefore, you will in this role be working closely with different risk departments of the bank while representing the commercial interest of the bank and our wholesale clients.

With constant changes from product development, regulation and market expectations, keeping Saxo Bank’s complex Wholesale solutions up to date is both challenging and fast paced. The work environment is open and highly dynamic, which enables rapid decision making and delivery. You will have the opportunity to apply and develop your skills, and you will get to work closely with technologists as well as highly skilled business professionals.

Among others you will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for Risk Management capability assessments of White Label Clients
  • Responsible for Wholesale Risk Management framework
  • Responsible for Procedures around sales processes related to Wholesale Risk Management
  • Responsible for enhancing the Risk Management functionality available to wholesale Clients
  • Responsible for maintaining the Risk Management functionality available to wholesale Clients



As a person you come across as professional, dedicated and hard working. You will thrive in a team of senior specialist who all work very independently and you have a keen interest in the financial industry and like to work in the crossroad between the development of the service offering/solution, the sale of the solution, and the risk management involved. You are strong within your field while having a commercial approach.

Further we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Relevant academic background combined with 5+ year of relevant experience preferably within the financial sector
  • Experience from working with one or several areas of Risk Management (Market risk, Credit risk, Capital Management etc)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with clients internationally
  • Skills necessary to create relations and ability to interact with different internal stakeholders across various departments and functions in Denmark and internationally
  • Understanding of processes and flair for designing scalable and maintainable business solutions
  • Numerical, analytical skills and a curious and enthusiastic attitude
  • Independent, very accurate and reliable work ethics with a detail oriented approach

You find it easy to communicate complex topics in a straightforward manner, thus you have strong language and presentation skills in English, written as well as verbal.
