Multi-Asset Product Manager

The Market Projects & Communications team sits within the Trading & Market Access department, which manages the multi-assts class product strategy and supports Saxo Group with product functionalities, market access and subject matter expertise throughout the value chain.  

We provide retail, institutional and wholesale clients with market access to trade Foreign Exchange, CFDs, Listed Products (e.g. Equities and Futures) and Bonds. 

To support this expanding team, we are now seeking to employ a Product Manager to be located in London.

Job Description

The role of Product Manager has three broad responsibilities:

Product Strategy:

  • Define the product strategy in cooperation with markets, sales, marketing, risk management, operations and legal/compliance to ensure that it is aligned with business and client needs
  • Define the value proposition and provide subject matter expertise throughout the value chain
  • Set pricing terms for client segments and manage non-standard price requests
  • Gather market intelligence on competitors, new products/services and market structure
  • Manage the implementation of new regulation into products


  • Ensure that the product strategy is clear, efficiently communicated and executed
  • Know all pending initiatives to enhance the product and to coordinate the product backlog
  • Rollout product education and training, providing the tools necessary to drive the business forward
  • Support the full value chain with developing product collateral and copywriting, including web/email content, product guides and FAQs

Project Management:

  • Support strategic and tactical initiatives, from inception through development and rollout
  • Participate and contribute to relevant projects run by Business Management, Sales or the Experience Office
  • Manage the product workstream in co-operation with product specialists



The position holder must have the following:


  • At least 5+ years working for a financial institution in a similar technical and client-facing role
  • Experience in developing and implementing product communication plans and training
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts in a comprehensible manner
  • Ability to maintain simultaneous focus on positive client experience and revenue targets

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Creative, dynamic and self-motivated with strong entrepreneurial skills
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and interpersonal – as well as strong attention to detail
  • Excellent project management and organisation skills with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Proactive approach to global coordination and execution
  • Proficiency/native speaker of English


  • Travel to Copenhagen expected once a month
