Risk Manager - Group Operational Risk Management

The Job

The Group Operational Risk Management team is in the process of finding a new risk manager.

Located at our Headquarters in Hellerup (DK), you will be situated within the Group Risk and Capital department and take part in the overall mission to ensure “no risk surprises” for the Group.

The Group Operational Risk Management team is responsible for developing and maintaining a risk management framework that enables the bank to identify, assess, manage and report non-financial risks efficiently and effectively and acts as a second line of defence. As such the team supports and assists the business units in designing and driving implementation of non-financial risk frameworks and promoting the risk awareness culture across the organisation.

The position entails having a broad knowledge of risk management principles across a number of risk management areas:

  • Risk exposure management
  • Event management
  • Contingency management
  • Change management

 

Your Profile

Your academic background could be within Finance, Business Administration or Computer Sciences and you should have at least 3 years of experience working with Risk Management, Business Analysis, or Information Security Management. You may have previously worked as a risk manager, auditor, consultant or similar.

You have direct or indirect experience in working with business processes, vendor relationships, business applications, and/or data and technology risk.

You have great people skills and can understand and explain complex situations. You are able to build valuable business networks which require good communication skills – connecting people with different functional and cultural backgrounds.

It would be considered an advantage to have fundamental knowledge of third party risk management, business continuity management, and/or information and cyber security risk management, as well as financial industry regulation.
