Technical Project Manager - Sitecore Platform Operations


Saxo Bank has just entered the next exciting phase of further developing and optimizing how we engage our clients through our Trading Platforms, which are the main products of Saxo Bank. To further strengthen our Digital Development and UX team and shift Saxo’s digital user experience to the next level, we are looking for a skilled Platform Operations TPM, who will act as our lead for our content management strategy towards our owned and Partner trading platforms. 


You will report to the head of Digital Development, and be part of a global team of highly skilled digital development managers in Denmark, Singapore, China, India and Poland, responsible for launching, innovating & improving all of Saxo’s Trading Platforms through the newly added Content Management Features. Working with our enterprise CMS system (Sitecore), and your colleagues across multiple organizations (Platforms, Digital Marketing, Digital On-boarding, Trade & Client Support, IT etc.) you will be part of the center of excellence that aims to further optimize the Saxo Experience. You will do this by working with the 3 pillars of our Headless CMS Strategy: Introducing agile content management inside the platforms, delivering timely and relevant content to our clients through the Digital Content Library, and supporting our Partners in managing their own flavor of Saxo's platforms. 

As a Digital Development Manager, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Participating in daily SCRUM meetings with teammates Globally 

  • Innovating, maintaining, enhancing our solutions in accordance with the global web and platforms UX strategy 

  • Working with stakeholders across the organization globally to build and enhance the user experience on Saxo’s platforms, with a focus on increasing retention and trading activity 

  • Clearly communicating with the head of the team and your colleagues, to ensure your projects and other tasks are progressing, while also ensuring that any potential risks for delivery are communicated in a timely manner 

  • Discovering, diagnosing and reporting product issues including broken designs, typos etc.  

  • Working closely with the following teams: Sitecore Development (IT), Digital Development (Web), Go To Market, Sales & Service, Trade & Client Support, Data Science, Brand & Content, Platforms 

  • Managing a smooth and timely implementation of multiple projects and content update requests, as well as coordinating these changes with the relevant stakeholders from start to finish 

As part of the Sitecore Platform Operations TPM role, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Being the primary point of contact towards our Platforms and Trade & Client Support teams 

  • Building the foundation of a global center of excellence for client engagement in the trading platforms 

  • Planning and estimating the road-map for our cross-channel projects 

  • Responsible for platform configuration for local Saxo Bank offices, anchoring the roll out of new Saxo Platform features and layouts 

  • Being hands-on, and the subject matter expert on our headless Content Management processes 

  • Being the guardian of a scalable solution from an operational and IT side in our processes 

  • Quality assurance test our new projects & release related change

  • tech savvy, and have an overall keen interest in the digital world

You preferably have 

  • strong skills in time management, prioritizing work individually and collaboratively. 

  • knowledge or strong interest in investment banking especially in relation to capital markets and financial products (FX, CFDs, equities etc) 

  • knowledge and experience in the FinTech world and the use of API technologies (SOAP, REST) 

  • experience in managing IT projects and project delivery in the financial sector 

  • experience with Content Management Systems, especially headless implementations (Sitecore is a plus) 

  • experience in software quality assurance or testing 

  • experience with UX best practices, Web design and basic front-end development (HTML, CSS, JS) is a plus 

  • experience in writing documentation for the rest of the team and other stakeholders
