Group Financial Controller

The position is new, and we need an analytical Group Financial Controller in our Group Finance team, with a “can do” attitude. We value a positive mind and a good laugh. You will join the skilled Finance team of four ambitious colleagues, where you will take part of the ownership of the preparation of consolidated external accounts, reporting and financial statements for Saxo Bank Group.

We operate with a Shared Service Center in India, a skilled Accounting team and a strong IT-Finance team, which means you and the Group Finance team are left with the complex, dynamic and development-oriented tasks, and responsibilities.

 

The team responsibilities

  • Annual and Interim reporting according to IFRS for Saxo Bank Group
  • Implementation of new IFRS regulation together with Financial Compliance
  • Month-end closing including analysis of the P/L and Balance Sheet
  • Controlling of foreign entities and ensuring compliant Group reporting
  • Development-oriented ad hoc tasks and projects related to Group Finance such as implementing a new consolidation system
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Saxo Bank at Headquarters and our Global entities
  • Communicating and coordinating with auditors

 

You possess

  • A master’s degree such as HD(R) and/or Cand.Merc.Aud
  • Strong communication skills and fluent in Danish and English
  • The proficiency in IFRS
  • A structured, analytical and a digital approach
  • The ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
  • A positive mindset and likes to contribute with team and collaborative skills

Group Finance & Treasury within Saxo Bank

The Group Finance & Treasury contains of Group Finance, Group Accounting, Commercial Finance, Financial Compliance, Group Treasury and Procurement.

Some of the key responsibilities:

  • External and Internal reporting including Business Partnering
  • Revenue and cost controlling and generating higher and more stable revenue, leading to an improved EBIT margin
  • Providing solid and reliable tracking of customer activities
  • Tracking, analysing and reporting on the Saxo Experience though a systematic and lean approach
