KYC Analyst

Saxo Bank onboards clients from across the Globe and in our efforts to combat money laundering, terrorist financing and financial crime, we are now looking for an experienced and practical KYC Analyst. You will become a part of our Corporate and Institutional onboarding team and refer to our Team Lead in Copenhagen.

As our new colleague, you will be working with a wide variety of tasks within the financial crime and anti-money laundering area. It is important that you are able to communicate broadly, and you are able to make regulatory requirements understandable and operational to the organization. As Saxo Bank is an international organization with global subsidiaries it is important to have a global mindset.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Performing the Due Diligence (DD) and KYC for complex clients according to our risk matrix
  • Participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement of the control environment, policies and procedures, and delivering a superior client experience
  • Ensuring compliance with AML policies and procedures
  • Act as a “go to expert” within the team as well as for key stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Solid root cause analysis of issues presented to avoid reoccurrence in the future

 

Your qualifications

  • You have a strong DD/KYC background and have good knowledge of AML laws and regulations and FATCA/CRS validation or legal background to understand the documentation requirements from a client onboarding perspective
  • You have strong interpersonal skills, comfortable liaising with clients and colleagues globally
  • You are a strong team player and thrive working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience from working with onboarding on multiple legal jurisdictions and client risk types is an advantage
  • Advanced experienced with the Office-package would be considered an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills is a must
