Student Assistant for Electronic Trading Desk

The Electronic Trading desk is looking for a curious and talented student assistant to be on duty during the US trading session. This position is based in our modern headquarters in Hellerup and provides the perfect opportunity to gain direct hands-on experience to the dynamics of a fast-paced and ambitious trading desk.

The desk ensures our clients have a consistent and reliable trading experience when using our award-winning platform. You will be given a great deal of front office responsibility from the start and asked to perform extremely varied Tasks involving:

  • Management of the bank’s execution hub
  • Monitoring of client business across Equities, Futures, Options and a variety of proprietary OTC products
  • Active liaison with top tier international brokers

 

Your profile

1st or 2nd year bachelor student at one of the greater Copenhagen universities – Economics, Finance, Business, Maths or Engineering backgrounds considered.

Analytical and technical mind with an interest in the financial markets

Multitasker who thrives in a fast moving, at times hectic, environment

Ability to analyze large amounts of data is a plus so preference given to candidates with advanced knowledge of SQL and Excel.

Time available to commit to working frequently in the evenings and occasional public holidays.

COO is responsible for building, constantly developing and improving the full digital value chain that Saxo Bank delivers to its clients and its partners. This is done in close collaboration with the IT Department and the Saxo Experience Office (SXO) and supports Saxo Bank in always providing a world class digital Saxo Experience in an efficient, stable and scalable way. 

The COO Area includes the following departments: Business Management, Platforms, Operations, Trading & Market Access, Quant Department, Big Data & IA as well as the Counterparty Credit Risk Management department.
